IIS - Upload from Mac?

Can ANYBODY tell me if it is possible to upload files from a Mac to a server
that is using FrontPage? I can log on from a PC just fine, but transferring
everything to that PC to upload is a nightly pain. I've searched everywhere
for an answer. The server says it cannot enable both FTP and FrontPage at the
same time, so I'm stuck with FrontPage. Any help or even just a no it cannot
be done would be appreciated.

You could create a separate subweb under FP and then just FTP to that subweb folder using 3rd party FTP software

Thanks! That would be soooo easy if it works.
Just so I am clear (as the server seems to need DETAILED instructions and I
have to use what is provided by the client):
If the website is at say www.mycompany.com;
The folder I currently upload to is mysite.mycompany.com;
Is that already a sub web?
Sorry my knowledge of FP is nil. All I know is that FTP cannot be enabled
for www.mycompany.com because of its usage and configuration.
I still don't understand why my PC (that does not have FP) can connect and
my Mac can't.

mysite.mycompany.com is subdomain, not a subsite or subweb.

FP FTP connection IIS FP 2002. The FP extensions on my website are scrambled, and the host hasn't been able to get them repaired yet. In the meantime I'm using FTP from FP to publish my edits from my local site to the hosted one. The local box either, is there? Creating a that doesn't already exist, as well it should. If you use a third party FTP (Filezilla, FTP plugin for Firefox, WS_FTP, Cute_FTP etc) then it would do the same thing as FP the directories when needed). Thanks Andrew - When I try to open the hosted site using FTP so that I can transfer files to my local machine, FP gives me the error
Local user can access FTP server but not remotely (425 error) IIS We have this strange situation. When we access ftp: / / 192.168.0.3:1400 while sitting at the server, we can see the contents of the FTP (after entering the user / password). However, accessing the same address from the LAN (still, the same user / password), lets us connect to the FTP-server but results then in error 425 ("Can't open data connection"). 1. We have inbound rule on Windows Firewall for ports 1400 - 1410. 2. We have customized IIS in FTP Firewall Support (Data Channel Port Range) accordingly. 3. FTP 7.5 connection IIS Hi I am setting up a FTP server (v. 7.5) but the FTP client cannot receive the folder content of the remote FTP-server after the successful login. The Windows Firewall (advanced security) on the Server has an open port 21. FTP configuration on directory browsing is in MS-DOS mode, and all 3 checkboxes of directory listing options are checked. The Virtual directory has the same name as the ftp-user. The Root-folder of the virtual directory as well as the rootfolder of the parent ftp-site have full access for the ftp user. This kind of configuration worked well in IIS6. For this first connection test on
FTP Uploading IIS I am working in Windows XP Professional, Frontpage 2003. I have tried for days to upload to GoDaddy. I set up the network place for the website as: ftp: / / defoetravel@ftp.defoetravel.com, but try as I might it will not connect to godaddy. Believing this be the problem, when I try to set up the Remote Web Site Properties using FTP and ftp: / / defoetravel.com - FTP directory: defoetravel it will either tell me the folder does not exist at the server checked- it is there) or it hangs up with the following message: Opening Web site ftp: / / defoetravel.com / defoetravel. I have waited over an hour for it to connect and nothing kind of problem.
