I am using Microsoft Frontpage 2003 and a Windows small business server 2003.
I have the extensions (6.0.2.8161) installed on my server but my site is not
working properly. I cannot use forms, usage reports, hit counters and all the
other featuers that help enhance websites. I dont know what else to do; i
have uninstalled and reinstalled the extensions. The website is

Thanks

You may have installed the extensions, but did you configure the web to use
them?

FrontPage extensions Version 6.0.2.8161 are the run time extensions for a
disc based web - used for maintaining files and links, but NOT for
processing forms.

You will have to install the extensions on the server from the Windows 2003
installation CD, and as Tom suggested, allow them for the website in IIS
configuration.

The version for extensions installed on Windows 2003 IIS6 is 5.0.2.6790

No, I dont guess i configured the web to use them. Im not sure how to do
that. All I know is that FrontPage is not recognizing my server and right now
my website is a one way street. How would I configure the web to use the
extensions?

Thanks,
Tyler

I do not know a whole lot about the tecnical side of this. I just know how to
make a website. My IT guy said he installed the extensions on the server and
I just figured that was all that needed to be done to get my forms and stuff
working properly. He has never used FrontPage before and keeps saying that
its not the server, its something Im doing in FrontPage, but im just creating
the website. I dont know how to configure the server stuff from inside
FrontPage

Thanks,
Tyler

FP 2003 to Expression Web IIS My current site was created with a template designed for FP2003; I now have Expression Web and will be creating a new site with it at some time. My question is: When I open my current site in Expression Web it appears misaligned - but when I do a preview it all falls nicely into place Thanks. Frontpage is Dead - Conversion to Expression (Web) Almost Impossible IIS Microsoft in its wisdom abandoned Frontpage in 2007 along with all of its users. The replacement Expression (Web) is fraught with bugs, and has yet to become stable. It has not yet been STEEP learning curve (actually many) for those who want to convert exisitng Frontpage webs to Expression. Many elect not to do so. MS has shot itslef in the foot by abandoning for the product. These are: 1 / small business owners who have easily built their own web site in Frontpage, 2 / web designers for those small business owners, and 3 / those who have created large hobby websites
Frontpage 2003 or Expression Web? IIS Hi, I'm new to web site design and I want to know if it's still a good idea to customer and using paypal as the main method of payment. I tried to use the Expression Web version that comes with the Action Pack subscription but after installing it, my computer started I had to restore my computer to a point in time before the installation of Expression Web. If I still can use this program (Frontpage) please let me know the fastest way
