IIS - Cant install IIS in Win XP SP3

I'm not sure if this has been fully answered before but I find I can't
install IIS now I have SP3 (I didn't try it in SP2). I get the message Setup
cannot find file "whatever.dll" and is looking (correctly I believe) in
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386. The message here is "ensure location is
correct...or insert SP3 CD... etc. Copy files from..." above loction.
If the file is skipped it fails with the next 'file not found' message.
Browsing the defined location indicates that the files are all there - but
it says "cannot copy" etc.
What's the next step to get round this? Why is it failing, please, when the
files ARE in that folder?
many thanks..

Thanks for this response which I've just picked up Bernard. Actually after reading some of the the other forum responses I worked out that you just keep pressing Cancel for every file requested that it cant find (even though its there), and when it finished after so many files ignored - it just completed and after reboot was installed in Services. Mind you whether it's working correctly is another matter...
